1017 ALYX 9SM Teams Up With Mackintosh for Technical Outerwear Capsule
Ranging from collared long vests to futuristic coats.
1017 ALYX 9SM and Mackintosh are continuing to push the boundaries of technical fabrication and style with their latest six-piece capsule collection. First featured in 1017 ALYX 9SM’s Spring/Summer 2020 runway show at Paris Fashion Week, the collection includes a diverse offering of outerwear derived from Matthew Williams’ trip to Mackintosh’s Glasgow factory. Interested in rubberized bonded cotton, he used this method of construction as the basis of the collection.
Marking the duo’s fourth time working together, the seasonal range features a formal yet futuristic Stazione Long Coat, a shorter Zip Front Jacket and a collared Anthracite Long Vest. The Stazione Short Jacket features an asymmetrical stand collar with signature ALYX webbing on the back, while a Simulation Hoodie offers a pared-down look with silver-tone metal hardware and a hidden velcro throat latch. Rounding out the capsule is ALYX’s cotton rollercoaster belt adorned with metal eyelets.
Ranging from €357 to €1,900 (approx. $395 to $2,100 USD), the capsule collection is available to purchase now on 1017 ALYX 9SM and Mackintosh’s websites, at Mackintosh stores and at select retailers worldwide.
