UNIQLO Unveils Full “Dragon Ball UT” x Kosuke Kawamura Capsule (UPDATE)
Spotlighting Goku, Gohan, Broly, and more.
UPDATE (September 19): Only two days after teasing its forthcoming Dragon Ball Z capsule done in collaboration with Japanese collage artist Kosuke Kawamura, fast fashion retailer UNIQLO has now unveiled the full collection.
The 28-piece range is comprised of pull-over hoodies, crewnecks and T-shirts all emblazoned with Dragon Ball Z graphics done in Kawamura’s distinct collage technique. Standout items include the white tee and crewneck which features various characters, including Goku, Gohan and Broly, formed into a Power Ball.
Interested fans will be able to purchase the “Dragon Ball UT” x Kosuke Kawamura collection starting Monday, November 25 at UNIQLO stores worldwide and Uniqlo.com. The T-shirts will retail for $14.90 USD (+tax) while the hoodies and crewnecks will cost $29.90 USD (+tax). Select items will be available in kid’s sizing selling between $9.90 to $14.90 USD (+taxes).
Original Story (September 17, 2019): Known for its numerous sought-after collaborations with the likes of KAWS, Pokémon, One Piece and more, fast-fashion retailer UNIQLO this time taps Japanese collage artist Kosuke Kawamura for a special Dragon Ball Z capsule.
Taking to Instagram to announces the team-up, UNIQLO also shared a few designs from the forthcoming capsule. The UNIQLO UT range will be comprised of everyday essentials such as pull-over hoodies, crewnecks and T-shirts all emblazoned with Dragon Ball Z graphics done in Kawamura’s distinct collage technique. Standout items include the white tee with various characters including Goku, Gohan and Broly formed into a Power Ball.
