New Balance Wraps the 997 Sport With Fuzzy Suede and CORDURA Paneling
Three fresh colorways.

New Balance is taking a textural approach for its latest 997 Sport model, releasing the style in three new colorways that are each cloaked in fuzzy suede and lined with sturdy CORDURA paneling along the sides. The trio of colorways offer both bright and neutral options, including a bold “Prism Purple” and more muted options of “Stonewater” and “Steel.”
Each edition is constructed with a suede and nylon upper and the brand’s ENCAP technology at the midsole. The “Prism Purple” is the most radiant of the group and is coated in a rich shade of purple from front to back, while hot pink pops of “Carnival” on the toe cap and collar offer even more vibrancy. Meanwhile, “Stonewater” is featured with tan detailing throughout while select elements in teal provide contrast. Rounding out the set is the “Steel” colorway, which gets paired with shades of “Techtonic Blue” for a clean combination.
The 997 Sport is priced at $120 USD, and available to shop now at New Balance’s webstore.
