BAPE Announces Upcoming 'Sesame Street' Collaboration
APE HEAD collides with the beloved cast of characters.
Following its BAPE HEADS-inspired collection with Wiz Khalifa, the Japanese streetwear giant now unveils its upcoming collaboration with the perennial children’s TV series, ‘Sesame Street.’
BAPE recently shared a graphic designed by MANKEY on Instagram to tease the collaboration. The visual portrays minimalist renditions of Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Bert and Ernie standing in front of the unmissable two-story brownstone apartment building from the hit series. Baby Milo is also observed snoozing on the 123 Sesame Street lamp post. Topping off the design is the silhouette of the label’s ubiquitous APE HEAD in the backdrop.
