Rick Owens Drops Punk-Inspired Black Cashmere Fingerless Gloves

Rick Owens has released a pair of black cashmere fingerless gloves as part of the Fall/Winter 2019 “Larry” collection.
The knitted cashmere construction is super-soft and comes in an archetype shade of black from the avant-garde designer. “Larry,” a tribute to American designer Larry Legaspi, who worked with musicians like Labelle and KISS, featured a number of rock-tinged looks — and these fingerless gloves are no exception.
Owens has cut out the end of the index and thumb for a punk-influenced feel, and has added ribbed cuffs to keep the bicep-length gloves in place. A small “Larry FW19” reference has been sewn into the cashmere in “Natural” cream, while a rock-inspired zig-zag motif is seen on the other arm towards the cuff.
