Reebok Gives Aztrek 96 a Retro, Multicolored Makeover
Inspired by hiking styles from the ’90s.
Earlier this summer, Reebok dropped the Aztrek 96 in two signature retro colorways. This time, Reebok is updating the hiking silhouette with a multicolor treatment.
Still maintaining vintage hues, the Aztrek 96 takes on purple, pink and teal colors. Layered mesh and suede uppers contrast with multicolored panels. The low-top silhouette has a chunky rubber sole and round toe box, with a bright pink lace-up front and similarly colored insoles. Focusing on functionality as well as style, the chunky hiking shoe combines outdoor fashion with a streetwear edge. Instead of obvious “Reebok” heel tab embroidery, vector logos (instead of the new delta ones) brand the heel, pull tab and toe box, giving the shoe a more streamlined look. The Aztrek 96 is inspired by ’90s hiking styles, transforming a retro favorite into a modern, everyday look.
The Multicolored Aztrek 96 Sneakers are available now at Browns for $133 USD.
