Polo Ralph Lauren continues its drops of archive-inspired pieces, following a set of Polo Sport bags with a new vibrant patchwork poncho.
Made up of contrasting textiles, the piece sees a bevy of colorful wool panels detailed in stripes, plaids and diamond motifs that nod to the aesthetic heritage of Americana. Boasting a half-zip construction, the poncho comes with an intricately woven knit hood and a substantial flap pouch at the front body. Multi-colored stripes appear around the back and lower sections of the garment, while a large graphic taken from an old Polo Sportsman campaign from the ’90s is applied to the right half of the piece. As a final touch, a sleek nylon trim appears along the edges of this billowing garment, adding an air of refinement to its rugged look.
