The latest take on the overdesigned trail runner features interlocking and overlapping layers and a nylon and mesh panel upper that expresses the team’s signature “Yellow/Purple” color scheme. Trail-inspired laces are weaved through eyestay points strategically placed throughout the 176-panel upper.
Elevating the shoe is a thick dual-density EVA sole unit which features augmented rubber components that protrude and propel feet forward. Branding elements come in the form of Track.2 rubber logos at tongue regions and side panels, embossed hits on the foam counter back and front of the outsole. Each shoe is given a washed effect to replicate a well-worn look that gives the materials used more character.
Priced at $895 USD, Balenciaga’s Track.2 in “Yellow/Purple” is available now at balenciaga.com.
