adidas Originals and Japanese label Bed J.W. Ford have officially unveiled their first ever collaboration, seeing three sneakers and an accompanying range of apparel. The footwear capsule sees three silhouettes decked out in an all-black color palette, as designer Shinpei Yamagishi takes on the football-inspired adidas Kamanda, the basketball Crazy BYW and the lesser-known archive adidas Korsika silhouette.
The Kamanda comes in a mid-top style, constructed from premium nubuck leather and PK fabric, while the Crazy BYW sees different textures and panels across its upper. Rounding out the three is the Korsika, arguably the capsule’s stand-out sneaker. The deck shoe-style moccasin silhouette is reworked with the same sock liner as other pairs, while also featuring prominent adidas branding and reflective detailing.
Alongside the footwear is a small apparel capsule encompassing windbreakers, track pants and football jerseys. The windbreaker and long jacket are both constructed from woven and knitted materials in a navy and burgundy color palette, complete with reflective branding on the chest and back and golden Three Stripes branding. Additionally, the collection also includes velour-like knitted track pants, a referee-inspired game shirt and a long-sleeve game jersey.
Take a look at the campaign imagery in the gallery above, and expect the full Bed J.W. Ford x adidas Originals collection to arrive at select stockists from September 20.
