Paddle8 Auctions Another Round of Solar Panel Artworks to Promote Renewable Energy
Featuring works from 1Up Crew, Abraham Osorio, Boris Chiaradia and more.
For the second time this year, the Solar Panel Art Series has teamed up with Paddle8 on an online benefit auction. This time around, participating artists include 1Up Crew, Abraham Osorio, Boris Chiaradia, Jasm One, Pierre Zufferey, RAWS, The Krank and Vincent Edmond Louis.
For the series, artists were prompted to use blank solar panels as a means of expression by painting over them in their distinct artistic styles. The result is a colorful collection of one-of-a-kind works that promote positive change in the renewable energy space.

Similar to previous solar panel auctions, the Vision Art Edition Auction will support Olafur Eliasson‘s Little Sun Foundation. With the climate strike right around the corner, this auction couldn’t feel more timely, as it aims to “leverage art as an effective tool to bring attention to global energy poverty.”
The auction is currently taking place until September 26, which leaves around one week left to participate on Paddle8’s website.
Elsewhere in art, Barry McGee will explore “The Other Side” in his upcoming Perrotin Hong Kong show.
