'In the Shadow of the Moon' Features Serial-Killing, Time-Traveling & 'Dexter'’s Michael C. Hall
Netflix’s latest psychological sci-fi offering.
Halloween maybe over a month away, however that hasn’t stopped Netflix from debuting some new horror films in the build up to the beloved night.
In the streaming service’s latest original project In the Shadow of the Moon, Philadelphia police officer Thomas Lockhart (Boyd Holbrook) begins to track down a serial killer who mysteriously resurfaces every nine years. As the crimes begin to defy all scientific explanation, Lockhart’s obsession with finding out the answers begins to destroy his life and sanity. The psychological sci-fi thriller also stars Michael C. Hall, of Dexter and Six Feet Under fame, and Cleopatra Coleman.
Directed by Jim Mickle, In the Shadow of the Moon begins streaming on Netflix September 27. The film will makes its world premiere a few days earlier on September 21 at the 2019 Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas.
