Ernie Hudson Will Reprise His Role as Winston Zeddemore in the 2020 'Ghostbusters'
“I’m having a blast doing it.”
American actor Ernie Hudson has confirmed that he’ll be reprising his role as Winston Zeddemore in Jason Reitman‘s Ghostbusters, slated for release next summer.
The news was revealed in a personal video message recorded via celebrity shout-out service Cameo. “We’re shooting the new Ghostbusters right now, coming out next summer, so I’m hoping that you’ll enjoy it as much as the other movies that we’ve done,” Hudson said. “I know that I’m having a blast doing it.”
Hudson will return to the franchise alongside Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II co-star Dan Aykroyd aka Ray Stantz, who had earlier confirmed his involvement with the film on the Joe Rogan Experience. Original cast member Sigourney Weaver has also announced her return as Dana Barrett, while new cast members include Ant-Man‘s Paul Rudd, Stranger Things’ Finn Wolfhard, and Captain Marvel‘s McKenna Grace.
The upcoming Ghostbusters is set for release summer of 2020. Stay tuned as more news on the film are set to roll in.
