FDMTL Features FW19 Lookbook Through Visual Trailer
Incorporating its signature indigo hues.
After applying its Sashiko needlework designs to craft a custom-wrapped Porsche 911, FDMTL unveils its latest creative endeavor to unveil its upcoming fall/winter lookbook. Portraying 15 individuals living in Tokyo, the brand created a cinematic trailer that represents its collection and visual identity. Encompassing its classic indigo and blue colors as the central theme, splashes of contrasting red are stitched throughout the film as they are in the clothing, providing an unexpected liveliness and boldness. The short film also highlights FDMTL’s details and notable use of Sashiko patterns, reinterpreted into various outputs including patchworks, Jacquard weaving, digital printing and embroidery. Collaborating with names like New Era, Master-Piece and Poggy, view the entire collection over at FDMTL’s website.
