BET+ Streaming Service to Launch Later This Month
Featuring over 1,000 hours of programming.
After its first announcement in June 2019, BET has announced the launch date of its ad-free streaming service. BET+ will officially go live September 19 with a monthly price of $9.99 USD and will feature over 1,000 hours of programming.
Joining the slate is Tyler Perry’s back catalog of work, standup specials from Nick Cannon, Lil Rel and Sasheer Zamata, and upcoming shows like First Wives Club, Bigger and Sacrifice. Content from other Viacom-owned brands such as VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, Basketball Wives, T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle, Comedy Central’s Why? With Hannibal Buress, MTV’s Todrick, TV Land’s Soul Man and Nick at Night’s Instant Mom will also land on the service.
BET+ joints the ranks of streaming service giants launching this 2019, going head-to-head with Disney+ and Apple TV+.
