Vetements Releases a Replica of Kurt Cobain's Iconic Cardigan
Part of the late grunge artist’s signature look.
Continuing to draw from an array of inspirations, Vetements Fall/Winter 2019 collection saw a selection of pieces that replicated looks associated with late grunge icon Kurt Cobain.
One standout was the Five Button Cardigan, which replicates the sweater that Kurt wore during Nirvana‘s historic MTV Unplugged session. Crafted of a wool-blend made up of alpaca and merino, the long sleeve knit features a Y-neck collar and five-button closure at the front. Rounding up design of the cardigan are large patch pockets at the waist, drop shoulders and a paper tag detail at the side seam.
