Norse Projects Enlists Heritage Waxed Cotton Makers British Millerain for Fall 2019
Dropping a premium four-piece capsule collection.

Copenhagen-based label Norse Projects has stopped by Manchester, UK for its Fall 2019 British Millerain collection.
The British Millerain factory is based in the heart of the UK’s textile industry and prides itself on being the original manufacturer of waxed cotton fabrics, which are typically used for outerwear. Norse Projects enlisted the heritage label for its latest seasonal drop, which consists of two jackets — the Nunk Cambric and Elias Cambric — as well as a Cambric Cap and Flap Cap.
Norse Projects has used “Dark Navy,” “Montpellier Yellow” and “Ivy Green” across all four pieces in the collection. The collaboration combines Norse Project’s clean Scandinavian aesthetic with British Millerain’s historic manufacturing methods which hark back to 1880, and as a result, deliver a number of elevated classics ideal for the colder months ahead.
The Elias Cambric is a classic two-pocket parka jacket featuring Polartec fleece insulation, a removable liner and snap closure. The 6oz waxed cotton developed by British Millerain is drier than alternative waxed fabrics and has a water repellent finish. The mid-length hunting-style Nunk Cambric is also insulated and features an adjustable drawstring system for the hood and waistband.
Norse Projects’ 6oz six-panel Cambric Cap is equally water repellent and is finished with a leather strap featuring a metal buckle. Tonal embroidery can be seen on the front and back of the cap, showcasing the label’s moniker. The Flap Cap features Polartec fleece components on the ear flaps, as well as tonal embroidered branding and a drawstring rear fastening.
