The bundle’s main highlight is the Xbox One X in Gears 5 decor, its translucent casing laser-etched with cracks and details creating the look of an icy surface, under which a Locust symbol sits, covered in snow. Along with the bundle is a limited edition fully-themed Kate Diaz Xbox One controller to match the aesthetic of the console, but it doesn’t stop there — all the games in the Gears of War franchise are also included: Gears 5 Ultimate Edition, Gears of War Ultimate Edition, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3, and Gears of War 4. As a bonus, the bundle even throws in a free month of Xbox Live and an Xbox Game Pass, as well as in-game content include the Ice Kait and Ice Jack character skins.
The Microsoft Xbox One X Gears 5 special edition bundle will release September 7, but is currently available for pre-orders, costing you $500 USD for the set.
Elsewhere in gaming, Apex Legends is adding a limited-time solo game mode.
