Aaron Rose, Joey Bada$$ & Chuck Strangers Reconnect for New Single "FTW"
Produced by fellow Pro Era artist Powers Pleasant.
Four members of the renowned Pro Era crew are coming together for a new single from Aaron Rose. Known as “FTW,” Rose’s latest record finds him reaching out to Joey Bada$$ and Chuck Strangers for additional bars, while Powers Pleasant is recruited for the track’ production.
“We were just all similar thinking people,” Powers Pleasant previously told Uproxx, opening up about his group’s origins. “I had the music department on lock so I had access to all the instruments, equipment so we used to cut class and make music together in the auditorium. We just had mutual goals and outlook on life so we thought why not just come together and do something.”
“I like to encourage and push myself to maybe write something every day, but I also don’t think that’s such a good practice either,” Joey Bada$$ recently added during a conversation with Interview, breaking down the creative process that births songs like “FTW.” “I definitely try to put myself in a position where I’m sharpening my skills and making sure that I’m getting a good amount of practice. But there’s also a balance of letting things come to you naturally and waiting for those right moments to go about writing a song or expressing how you feel.”
