The Cool Kids & Alchemist Release ‘Layups’ EP
Chuck Inglish and Sir Michael Rocks are back with the boom-bap.
In commemoration of their Special Edition Grand Master Deluxe album arriving two years ago, Chicago rappers Chuck Inglish and Sir Michael Rocks return as The Cool Kids with their new EP entitled Layups.
The Alchemist-produced project sees the two MCs rapping over three tracks, 2 of which serve up the classic boom-bap production the duo team is known for. The EP was also created with the help of Detroit rapper Boldy James who appears on the first track “WTF” and Shorty K who appears on the drumless sample for “Polansky.”
