(Sandy) Alex G Drops New Single "Hope" & Announces Tour Dates

(Sandy) Alex G has dropped off his newest single “Hope,” taken from his upcoming ninth album House of Sugar. Heavily reliant on his acoustic guitar, Alex G touches on a friend’s death, explicitly implicating Fentanyl as the culprit. The two-and-a-half-minute cut is also accompanied by a visual that was shot with what seems like a mobile phone, focusing on a wooden puppet dancing to the otherwise haunting tune.

In prepration for House of Sugar, the Philly native has announced a North America and Europe tour set to kick off in October until March 2020. He’ll be making appearances at Lollapalooza in Chicago, San Francisco, Brooklyn, the UK and Paris to name a few. Check out the full list of tour dates below.
