Jerry Lorenzo Unveils the Nike Air Fear of God 1 "Yellow"
The iteration has yet to receive an official colorway name.
After almost half a year of speculation, Jerry Lorenzo officially revealed his latest Nike Air Fear of God 1 offering. Although the yellow colorway was originally labelled “Amarillo,” the designer discredited the name on Instagram with a light joke, suggesting other titles to fit the model. “The Lakeshow Yellows… aka The Chicago Sky’s… aka The Lorenzo PE’s… Just don’t call them “The Amarillo’s” please,” he wrote on one post. Touching on pop culture, he added, “The #Pikachus “Lil Baby Voice” …the “Yes Indeeds.”
Straying from its muted “Frosted Spruce” and “Orange Pulse” predecessors, the newest FOG 1 revamp arrives in the most vibrant of yellows. Constructed with a breathable mesh upper, the tonal hue spreads to the TPU cage and lacing. Contrasting hits can be found on the white mini Swoosh and double-stacked Zoom Air sole unit, along with with an icy blue pop on the sole window.
According to Lorenzo, the sneaker is expected to drop this July on Nike SNKRS, so stay tuned for an official date and pricing info.
