New Balance's Urban Peak MTL575 Is a Vibram-Equipped Tactical Runner
A Cordura upper reinforces the functional motif.
Following the recent Cordura pack, New Balance has another sturdy running sneaker ready to go. The Urban Peak MTL575 is even more functional than the pack of 997 runners, blending utility and style into a sleek package.
A muted black upper and midsole is offset by hits of red and blue seen on the “N” branding and heel panel, with pigskin suede and grain leather offering a plush counterpoint to the rip-proof Cordura mesh. The trail runner retains its usual REVlite midsole, but now sports a Vibram Mega Grip outsole for extra traction and response, highlighting the silhouette’s heightened practicality.
The Made in UK Urban Peak MTL575 is currently available on New Balance’s site for $220 USD.
