Watch the First Trailer for 'Jay and Silent Bob Reboot'
The clueless duo are back.
After a series of teasers, we now have the first trailer for Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes’ Jay and Silent Bob Reboot. Taking a shot at the reboot trend pervasive in cinema today, the revival of the franchise is centered around the duo discovering a reboot of the old movie based on them is being made.
Once again the two must go cross-country to stop the production, bumping into old friends along the way. The trailer reveals some continuity from the first the last film with cameos from Elizabeth, Jason Lee, Brian O’Halloran, Craig Robinson, Jason Biggs, James Van Der Been, and more. Some notable scenes featured in the trailer include a clip of Ben Affleck (one of the three Batman actors set to appear in the movie), a speech about fatherhood from Method Man and Redman, along with a chance meeting with Tommy Chong.
