HODINKEE & Blancpain Collaborate on Limited-Edition Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe
Reworking the classic diver.
HODINKEE adds to its list of special-edition watches with a new take on Blancpain‘s iconic Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe. For this collaborative effort, the Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe features large 3-6-9-12 numerals, a satin-brushed stainless steel bezel with a ceramic insert and Liquidmetal hour-markers, and a Caliber 1153 movement that packs 100 hours of power reserve.
Keeping true to the military/diving watch, the workhorse watch is sized at 38mms and is rated to 300 meters in water resistance. Marking this as a special edition watch, the HODINKEE logo can be found engraved on the solid gold, stealthy grey-finished rotor.
