Converse switches things up on its classic Chuck Taylor All Star with the addition of a chunky ripple sole. The “Sharksole,” as it is called, sits slightly smaller than the traditional All Star outsole, appearing as if two separate outsoles are stacked on top of each other while the sawtooth tread pattern adds an additional half inch in height to the shoe.
Elsewhere, the shoe remains the same with its canvas uppers, rear rubber stamp branding, and rubber toe. Available in choice of black or white, the Converse “Sharksole” All Star ’70s Ox are available now over at atmos for a price of ¥7,000 JPY (approximately $65 USD).
