Burberry‘s penchant for modernizing its rich heritage has taken shape in the form in its latest Union silhouette. The sneaker sees a progressive design that fuses polyamide and leather textiles atop a duo-layered midsole.
“BURBERRY” is detailed at the tongue over orange leather panels, while a red and black stripes tongue tab runs from the top to the toe cap. The same stripes appear along the lower sidewalls, the heel, the lace cage and near the upper collars. Like other recent footwear models from Burberry, “TB” initials are stamped at the rear quarter. A crisp white panel is placed at the back, stretching up to the collars with eyelets that hold matching laces. Burnished hazel-toned leather acts as the base layer underneath all the aforementioned overlays. Finally, a bright orange midsole is set against a thick black rubber outsole, etched with various ridges and treads that offer not only interesting color contrasts but sporty design elements.
The Burberry Union Sneakers in “Orange” is currently available on burberry.com for $750 USD.
