One of comedy’s greatest partners in crime Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are back at it again with Good Boys, a new teenage flick based around a group of middle schoolers, and a new trailer for the upcoming film has just dropped.
Produced by the comedy duo whose previous work includes Pineapple Express, Superbad, and This is the End, the latest installment will be a directorial debut for previous The Office (US) writer Gene Stupnitsky. The movie revolves around three young teenagers in middle school — played by Jacob Tremblay, Brady Noon, and Keith L. Williams — and their party antics as they age into a more adult world. Speaking in an interview, Stupnitsky said that “middle school was not sentimental” for him. In fact, “it was horrible… I think it’s everyone’s toughest years,” the director said.
Good Boys will release on August 16. Check out the trailer above, and in case you missed it, the film also posted a red band trailer earlier on its Instagram page which you can find below. And for more entertainment news, HBO has just concluded its seven-year partnership with Vice Media.
