After consistently standing as a leading force in the in Seoul, South Korea’s streetwear scene for nearly a decade, MSCHF recently launched its first flagship store.
Located on the third floor of a building in the Gangnam neighborhood of Apgujeong, the retail experience boasts an expansive layout decorated with minimalist mirror walls, metal fixtures and large windows. With the brand’s office set to move into the first floor of the building, MSCHF looks to use its new space as an event space for the creative community in the city. Events in the works include art exhibitions, listening parties, book releases and more.
Additionally, MSCHF has put together a selection of limited edition items to mark the opening of its first flagship store. Leading the releases is its Signature Red Series which features a T-shirt, gym sack, pouch, Apple iPhone case, notebook and pencil case marked with classic MSCHF branding. A collaboration with Good Worth comes in the form of pins, a brass lighter case and a keychain necklace, while Quispiam Habilis and the brand worked on unique ceramic ashtrays and vases. Finally, the store currently has an array of limited art posters available for purchase by artists Moonsick Gang, Quack, Cifika, Hansy and Alfie Shiu Kai.
