Back in May, we saw KANGHYUK and Reebok coming together for their uniquely deconstructed KANGHYUK x Reebok Advanced Concepts Sole Fury, leaving fans curious about what else the Korean label has in store for future releases. KANGHYUK has returned, this time with a slew of meticulously crafted cut-and-sew pieces clad in distinctive dyes and technical applications.
The lineup sees a mix of jackets, vests, button-ups, pants and hats, characterized by faded patinas in muted shades of monochrome. Spotlighting the assemblage are the grey and white Readymade Shrink Shirts that have been intentionally crinkled, adding aesthetic depth while creating a special lived-in look.
Another standout piece is the White Down Readymade Airbag Front Jacket. The nylon jacket comes packed with 90 percent goose-down, printed graphics on the detachable hood and subtle red topstitching placed along the lower chest. Details like the concealed zipper compartments, reinforced seams and smooth satin lining complete the outerwear piece. Other garments like grey Readymade Airbag Astronaut Jacket, cap, oil-washed trousers and front vest, finish off the concise spread.
The latest FW19 pieces from KANGHYUK is currently available on SSENSE.COM ranging from $225 – $3,125 USD.
