HANON Works With Hickmet Sugoer on SONRA Proto "Wildcats"
Inspired by a local running club.

HANON has debuted its latest collaboration, this time around working with Hikmet Sugoer‘s brand SONRA on a Proto “Wildcats” release. HANON has a strong affiliation with the Wildcats — a local Scottish running club — as the team was used to reference its 2011 collaboration with ASICS on its Gel Lyte 3 silhouette.
The Proto “Wildcats” mixes premium materials such as veg-tanned leather, buttery soft suede and 3M. Its upper features a bold mustard yellow and burgundy colorway that has hits of 3M on its toe and heel. The Proto sits atop a minimalistic white sole unit and features a fully lined veg-tanned leather inner, as well as a number of co-branded details.
A SONRA patch is placed on the lateral side of the Proto “Wildcats” and the tongue features the brands signature logo in black on the tongue. HANON flame branding is placed on the heel and on the insole, and the pair is rounded off with SONRA branding on the lateral rear-quarter panel.
Each pair comes with a numbered suede hangtag and the leather-lined tongue is stamped with a unique unit number and the statement, “Handcrafted in Germany.” The HANON x SONRA Proto “Wildcats” is limited to just 200 pairs and retails for £249 GBP (approx. $315 USD). Due to its limited nature, the sneaker is only purchasable via a raffle on the HANON website, which will end on 7th June 12 PM BST.
