Dr. Martens Celebrates The Who With Fall/Winter 2019 Capsule
Complete with the band’s iconic target logo.

Dr. Martens has unveiled a new collection in honor of iconic British band The Who. The collaboration takes inspiration from the summer of 1967, when The Who guitarist Pete Townshend wore Dr. Martens’ iconic 1460 boots on stage.
The stand-out feature of the collection is the tri-color target motif that appeared on the artwork for the Quadrophenia album, before becoming an internationally-recognized symbol of The Who. This logo appears on the 1461 shoe and 1460 boot, alongside a tonal arrow motif, as well as on two Dr. Martens sneakers. Other detailing throughout the collection includes a red Dr. Martens heel loop, red welt stitching and a dual-branded sock liner.
Rounding out the collection is the Adrian tassle loafer, which sees a red, white and blue Union Jack flag appear across its black leather upper.
The full collaboration — which came together in partnership with Universal Music Group’s Bravado — with The Who is set to release via the Dr. Martens web store and physical locations on June 6,
