Flume Enlists London Grammar for Bright New Single "Let You Know"
The collaboration was years in the making.
This past March, Flume released his long-awaited studio project Hi This Is Flume, providing a full-length follow-up to 2016’s Skin LP. Now, to promote the forthcoming world tour in support of Hi This Is Flume, the popular Australian producer-DJ is debuting a new single known as “Let You Know.” His first major standalone release since the Hi This Is Flume rollout, “Let You Know” finds Flume reaching out to UK act London Grammar for some creative assistance. Notably, “Let You Know” is also being released alongside a lyric video from director Jonathan Zawada.
“[London Grammar vocalist] Hannah Reid and I wrote ‘Let You Know’ last summer,” Flume shares via an official press statement. “I was on a writing trip to London, was actually the same trip where I first met slowthai. Had been wanting to make something with Hannah for a long time and this one just came together really naturally in the studio that day.”
The studio session that produced “Let You Know” was years in the making, with both artists having anticipated that moment for quite some time. “We’ve been trying to work together for years but it just never worked out with our schedules but I’m so glad it finally did,” notes London Grammar singer Hannah Reid. “Working with Harley [Flume] was an honor because he pushes the boundaries of electronic music like nobody else. He’s the kind of electronic artist who will be around forever. I love our song we did together.”

Back in February of 2017, Flume also dropped a four-track EP dubbed Skin Companion II.
