Blarf Drops Meme-Themed Visual for "Bad*ss Bullsh*t Benjamin Buttons Butthole Assassin"
Definitely not Eric André.
Mysterious musician Blarf (definitely not Eric André) has delivered the first single off his upcoming debut Cease & Desist LP. Though both André and label Stones Throw Records deny the comedians involvement in Blarf, it’s been reported before that the moniker was the name of a project he previously worked on while studying at Berklee School of Music.
While Blarf remains a rather enigmatic side project of the famed comedian, it’s clear that outlandish persona hasn’t swayed away from his antics in his latest musical endeavor. The first official single, titled “Bad*ss Bullsh*t Benjamin Buttons Butthole Assassin,” is a relative melding of overtly distorted percussion, random noise, and weirdly-plucked samples that sound as if they’ve been literally regurgitated from André’s mind. The video is just as peculiar, taking the age of memes to the max via heavily edited cuts of some of the internet’s most memorable moments.
You can listen to and watch the video for Blarf’s “Bad*ss Bullsh*t Benjamin Buttons Butthole Assassin” above. Eric André is currently slated to start his world tour later this Summer and will drop Blarf’s Cease & Desist LP on June 26.
For more music news, Migos just dropped a new single entitled “Stripper Bowl.”
