Art Comes First Exhibits Western-Inspired "El Charro Negro" SS20 Collection
Taking tailoring West.

Art Comes First has delivered a closer look at its Spring/Summer 2020 “El Charro Negro” collection, which previewed at its Mandrake Hotel residency before its London Fashion Week showcase.
The Mandrake played home to a preview of “El Charro Negro” from June 1 – 8. The collection highlights ACF’s interpretive take on tailoring and eclectic range of references which have been used to create a nomadic-inspired selection of apparel. The preview also debuted the labels next Fred Perry collaboration which once again draws inspiration from subcultures synonymous with the Laurell Wreath-fronted brand.
Standout pieces from Art Comes First’s SS20 collection include a light tan suede Western-style jacket, which features allover graphics such as two guns, a Native American war bonnet, cowboys, playing cards, a Stetson hat and cowboy boots. Other notable mentions include fringed brown jeans, a long-line take on a denim Western shirt — featuring collar, chest and cuff embroidery — and finally, the black and gold vest. Take a look at the Art Comes First “El Charro Negro” collection in the gallery above and experience the collection for yourself in Paris on June 22.
