adidas has announced its new Pulseboost HD sneaker will be releasing later this month in a number of Summer-ready colorways.
The updated BOOST technology delivers more stability while maintaining comfort and energy return offerings. adidas has made the Pulseboost HD its most agile BOOST-equipped sneaker to date, positioning the technology lower to the ground for more immediate stops and quick direction changes.
An artificial intelligence-developed Continental Adaptive Traxion outsole has been paired with the new Pulseboost HD midsole, providing increased levels of grip and control on all surfaces. The new silhouette will initially drop in five colorways — “Solar Red,” “Core Black,” “Core White,” “Grey/Hi-Res Orange” and a limited-edition monochrome grey iteration.
The Pulseboost HD was co-developed in an open-source program alongside urban runners from Paris, Berlin and New York. These three cities have been highlighted on the sneaker’s design via GPS coordinates seen on the tongue.
adidas also partnered with Spotify and placed a QR code on the tongue. This technological addition links directly to a custom playlist based on where you are in the world. The limited-edition monochrome colorway will be exclusively available to Creators Club members from June 19, and available for all online and the adidas app on June 20, followed by the worldwide release of the additional colorways on June 27 for £119.95 GBP (approx. $140 USD).
In other news, adidas has wrapped its BOOST-equipped POD-S3.2 in camouflage.
