Having shared a teaser earlier in March, Netflix has now dropped a new full-length trailer for its upcoming limited series, When They See Us.

The miniseries will tell the tale of the Central Park Five, a group of five Harlem teenagers who were wrongfully committed of rape and were sentenced to prison in 1989. The four-part series, helmed by Oscar-nominated director Ava DuVernay, will examine the case over a span of 25-years, which ultimately saw the boys being free after being locked away for 13 years.

In the new powerful trailer, we see how the five teenagers, who noticeably have become men, deal with the aftermath of racial and political injustice and how they survived a broken system.

When They See Us stars Michael K. Williams, Vera Farmiga, John Leguizamo, Felicity Huffman, Niecy Nash, Blair Underwood, Christopher Jackson, Joshua Jackson, and more. The series hits Netflix this Friday, May 31.
