Verdy Hints at Upcoming Uniqlo UT Collaboration
With a special teaser from creative director NIGO.
Japanese designer Verdy and Uniqlo UT are cooking up something good. The famed Girls Don’t Cry and Wasted Youth founder teased the upcoming collaboration through Instagram, with Uniqlo UT creative director NIGO jumping in to leave a clue of his own.
With the caption “RISE AGAIN” and the same table setting backdrop used for both the creatives’ Instagram accounts, Verdy and NIGO implied the possible partnership with different outputs. Verdy published product tags with his distinct rabbit character, the UT logo and the trademark “© VERDY,” while the HUMAN MADE founder utilized a photograph of model and frequent collaborator Emma dressed in a yellow top with the same animal motif.
Other pieces in the collection, prices and a release date are yet to be announced so stay tuned for further details.
