Rising star Calboy joins Moneybagg Yo for “Unjudge Me,” a three-minute cut from the young rapper’s upcoming album Wildflower. With the right balance of a piano riff and use of autotune, the track comes off as a melodic and insightful piece from the pair. Narrating the lows that pushed them to their highs, Calboy and Moneybagg Yo are open about how those Ls have changed them for better or for worse.
The two also dropped a music video for the single that features the duo linking up in Moneybagg Yo’s hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. Scenes from the rougher side of town are squeezed between performance shots to serve as a reminder of how far the two have come, stitching the song’s message together as a proud anthem.
