PORTER & Citizen Collaborate For a GMT World Time Watch
Celebrating Citizen’s 100th anniversary.

PORTER has just collaborated with Citizen for the watchmaker’s 100th anniversary. The re-worked “PROMASTER” watch comes in choice of stainless steel with either a black or silver finish. Using Citizen’s Eco-Drive technology, that GMT World Time watch is able to function up to 6 months on a full charge, and can be re-energized using sunlight. As this is a world time watch, various cities around the world are stamped at the bezel; the matte-black version of the watch is less easy to read (with the exception of the GMT hand) due to its fully-tonal bezel and dial.
Other features include a 42mm case design, a large non-slip crown, 20 bars of water-resistance, and an interchangeable ZULU strap. Branding comes in the form of dial printing, caseback “PORTER 1962” engraving, and a PORTER label stitched on the nylon ZULU strap. Those interested can find the 100th anniversary PORTER x Citizen GMT World Time Watch over at Yoshidakaban.com for a price of ¥ 74,000 JPY (approximately $670 USD).
