SOPHNET. Brings on nonnative for Its Commemorative 20th-Anniversary Capsule
“That Sophnative Production.”
Following up SOPHNET’s 20th anniversary capsule with BAPE, SOPHNET. has now put on Japanese imprint nonnative for the next commemorative capsule, aptly dubbed “SOPHNATIVE.”
The latest collection consists of a concise spread of co-branded pieces in the form of a black T-shirt, matching slacks and mao-collar shirts colored in tones of sharp blue and earthy beige. One standout piece is the T-shirt, printed over with words that read “That Sophnative Production.” Its angular typeface bears similarities to that of the iconic New York carrier bags from canal street that say “Thank you for Shopping With Us!” Another highlighted piece is the lightweight long-sleeve made from a special dyeing process called “Kurume.” The pullover shirt is embroidered with the co-branded slogan at the left arm, while tailored with short cuffs and an extended hem. Matching trousers with a loose cut and embroidery near the left pocket round out the collaborative assemblage.
The SOPHNET. x nonnative “SOPHNATIVE” collection will be exclusively available on May 31 at COVERCHORD and SOPHNET.‘s online store as well as SOPHNET.’s retail location.
