Kobe Bryant‘s Proto version of his fourth signature shoe is set to release in a very familiar colorway. Mixing performance with retro stylings (Proto), the colorway takes us back to the year 2009, where it matched perfectly with the Mamba’s #24 Los Angeles Lakers jersey.

The Nike Zoom Kobe IV Proto is known for its low-cut profile that is light in weight, and highly responsive. With this OG colorway, white makes up the majority of the uppers, while black appears on the nylon Flywire fibers, mudguard and heel support. Kobe’s signature Del Sol color can be found woven into the laces, stitched into the collar, and bordering the Nike Swoosh logo. The sneaker is finished with a full-length Phylon midsole, a LunarLite forefoot, and a Zoom Air heel bag.

Those excited for this pair of nostalgic kicks can expect them to drop May 24 on Nike’s SNKRS app.
