Following up to last year’s Miley Cyrus-backed capsule, Converse has unveiled its annual Pride Collection for 2019. The range includes apparel and footwear adorned with flashy elements like glitter and oversized lighting bolts, reflecting a “loud, proud” sensibility in order to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.

Converse has included the Chuck Taylor and Chuck 70 sneakers in the assortment, which all feature details that were inspired by the Pride rainbow flag. The lace tips, heel and side bumper all take on a multicolored design to reflect the stripes of the flag, while “1969–2019” is stamped onto the tongue to pay homage to the 50th anniversary of Pride.

Among the shoes, the glitter-dipped and ombré colorways mark some of the boldest styles. Meanwhile, a white-based option featuring a subtle star print brings a more subdued choice. Coordinating graphic T-shirts and accessories finish off the looks.

The 2019 Converse Pride Collection releases on May 6 at select retailers, as well as Converse’s webstore.
