Description

Kobe Bryant is a former American professional NBA basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers. He is a 17-time All-Star, 15-time member of the All-NBA team, 12-time member of the All-defensive team, and has won five championships throughout his 19 year career. Considered one of the greats of the game, he has led the league in scoring twice, and is third among the league’s all-time regular season scoring and all-time post-season scoring list. After completing a successful high-school basketball career, Bryant declared himself for NBA draft and was signed 13th overall. The Olympic gold medalist is also the youngest player in league history to reach 30,000 points, at 34 years and 104 days old. Before his rookie season, Bryant signed a six-year contract with adidas worth approximately $48 million, before switching to Nike later in his career. His signature basketball sneaker line by Nike has seen many different iterations, establishing it as one of the more popular basketball sneaker lines currently sold by the brand.
