Nike Updates the Air Max Tailwind IV in an All-Black Colorway
Metallic details atop a monochromatic color scheme.

Nike has unveiled one of the latest iterations of the Air Max Tailwind IV silhouette, updated in all-black and slated to hit the shelves soon. While the sneaker is monochromatic, its silvery metallic detailing is etched throughout, offering a sleek finish that’s coupled with standout accents. Dubbed “Black/White — Metallic Silver,” the sneaker is constructed with panels of mesh and leather. Its black tongue is graced with embroidered branding complemented by laces that are looped through reflective eyelets. Other embroidered elements take form in mini-Swooshes found at the lateral sides near the back, a smaller one at the heel and another at the toe cap. The sneaker’s signature side panels see shades of gradients framed by silver-toned piping and black leather that extends from the heel to the forefoot. All of these details sit atop a tonal midsole that comes with neutral-toned transparent air units. Other accents like subtle toe cap perforations and a textured midsole round out the muted sneaker.
The Nike Air Max Tailwind IV “Black/White — Metallic Silver” is expected to release soon on Nike and other retailers like NOIRFONCE.
