Matthew Williams Shares a Closer Look at the S19-Nike-MMW Technical Runner
Featuring a bold red Vibram sole.
1017 ALYX 9SM creative director and designer Matthew Williams took to Instagram to preview another upcoming colorway of his collaborative sneaker with Nike, the S19-NIKE-MMW Technical Runner.
From the images and video shared by Williams, we can see the latest model incorporates design codes and aesthetics from both the lauded labels. The sleek, technical sneaker boot utilizes a bulky red Vibram sole which has been locked down by a vamp and rear strap onto the main body. Elsewhere the reflective effect on the side panels could mean some sort of waterproof element has been added, which is not far fetch coming from the two labels. Other features include a discreet cord lacing system and zipper on the medial ankle.
Previously, Williams shared an all-black iteration following the pair’s Paris Fashion Week debut.
