Leica Celebrates 100 Years of the Bauhaus School With Limited Edition Camera
Redesigned for a minimalist look.

To celebrate the centennial anniversary of the Bauhaus School of Art and Design in Germany, revered German camera makers Leica have just released a special edition Leica CL 100 Jahre Bauhaus set, limited to 150 units worldwide.
Comprised of a silver Leica CL and a matching silver Elmarit-TL 18 mm f/2.8 ASPH. lens, the special edition set sees the camera’s leatherwork in black with an embossed “Bauhaus” logo, the usual Leica logo being reduced in size and rendered black for a minimalist, monochromatic aesthetic. The camera comes along with a matching black leather strap, also embossed with the word “Bauhaus”.
Technically, the camera is pretty much equipped with all the standard Leica CL features, including a 24-megapixel sensor, high-speed autofocus, 4K video recording capabilities, and parity with Leica’s FOTOS App for social media sharing.
For Leica or bauhaus enthusiasts, the Leica CL 100 Jahre Bauhaus is now available at Leica stores and select retailers, and will set you back $3,750 USD.
