King Von & Lil Durk Showcase the OTF Movement for "Crazy Story 2.0" Video

Late last year, Chicago rapper and Lil Durk affiliate King Von stole the show on Durk and OTF’s full-length compilation project Only The Family Involved Vol. 2. Of the 12 songs featured on Only The Family Involved Vol. 2, Von was credited on three, including impressive solo showings on “War with Us” and “Crazy Story.” Supporting one of his standout solo selections on Only The Family Involved Vol. 2, King Von is reconnecting with Lil Durk for a new, official spin on “Crazy Story” known as “Crazy Story 2.0.” Specifically, the aforementioned track comes to us via its visual component, which was put together by director @setitoff.tv.
“For the ‘Crazy Story 2.0’ video, I wanted to capture the immediacy of Von’s story, but translate it to a bigger scale,” @setitoff.tv tells us, breaking down King Von and Lil Durk’s latest music video. “Instead of sitting in a room and relaying the story to his friends, like Von does in the first ‘Crazy Story,’ Von brings his crew to the block — his story is bigger than just his own, it effects everyone in his neighborhood. We got all the OTF guys to appear in the video, and the way they act, it’s clear that their bond goes deeper than music. Durk is building something special, and I wanted the video to reflect that.”
In recent months, Von has racked up millions of views and streams with ease, so expect this clip for “Crazy Story 2.0” to dominate the YouTube rap landscape in the very near future.
