GmbH Teases Monochromatic ASICS GEL-Kayano 5 OG Collaboration
The Berlin-based label puts its spin on the retro runner.
After utilizing the GEL-Kayano 5 OG in its Spring/Summer 2019 presentation at Paris Fashion Week, GmbH looks to be gearing up to drop a monochromatic ASICS collab.
GmbH creative director, Serhat Isik, recently took in Instagram to unveil two unreleased colorways of the retro model. Centered around monochromatic expressions of beige and a grey tone green, the GEL-Kayano 5 OG has been retooled with a mixture of interesting diagonal textured textile, nubuck and both patent and smooth leather. But it is the translucent rubber used on the ASICS branding overlay and GmbH logo patch that really set the sneakers a cut above.
