GmbH and ASICS Launch Tonal GEL-Kayano 5 Collaboration
A trio of futuristic runners.
Teased by GmbH just last week, the German label’s collaborative ASICS GEL-Kayano 5 has received official imagery courtesy of Titolo. The sleek running sneakers blend the best of retro running motifs with contemporary technology, yielding an attractive trio of tonal sneakers.
Offered in Seashell, Lichen Rock and White, the three high-tech runners sport textured Duomax midsoles, cushioned for maximum comfort. This modern-day technology gently contrasts with the techy-looking uppers, which utilize plastic overlays to add functional appeal to the head-turning patent leather, sturdy suede and breathable mesh panels. A translucent GmbH tag below the ankle is the fashion label’s sole touch of branding, while a throwback ASICS “A” logo is realized atop a patch of suede on heel.
GmbH’s three collaborative ASICS GEL-Kayano 5 will hit stockists like Titolo’s web store on May 30.
