BANKS Returns With Enchanting New Single "Gimme"

Alluring singer-songwriter BANKS has shared her first release since 2017, an exhilarating pop hit entitled “Gimme.” Featuring the artists’ signature style and sound, the track relishes in an electrifying atmosphere, filled with skittering synths that echo heavily beneath the singer’s enthralling vocals.

As she notes in a statement regarding the track, “’Gimme’ is a song about getting what you want. It’s about knowing what you deserve, saying it out loud, and demanding it with no apologies,” following with “I’m ready to release this into the world and begin a new chapter.” BANKS has been relatively absent from the limelight over the past several years, releasing her acclaimed debut album Goddess in 2014, following it up with 2016’s The Altar. In 2017 she released her singles “Crowded Places” and “Underdog,” lastly being featured on 6LACK‘s track “In Between.” However, last December she noted that she had recorded nearly 45 new songs, stating that she’d be releasing a new project this year.
